Todd Chrisley’s ex-wife married her high school sweetheart when she was 19 years old and pregnant with their first child. Chrisley was only twenty-one years old at the time.
They were married for seven years, but they divorced and remarried multiple times during that time. Terry claimed that her ex-husband was abusive and controlling. In 1992, she filed a complaint alleging domestic violence, which she later dropped.
Terry discussed numerous instances in which her ex was physically abusive. She even asserted that he had physically abused her mother. Todd denied all of those claims.
