From 2012 to 2016, Lara worked as a story coordinator and producer for the television news show Inside Edition. Lara joined Fox News as a contributor on March 29, 2021.
She led the Trump-Pence Women’s Empowerment Tour during Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and worked as the Trump Tower liaison for Brad Parscale’s Giles-Parscale company. She became an online producer and fundraiser for her father-in-law after he was elected president.
She called German chancellor Angela Merkel’s decision to welcome refugees during the 2015 European migration crisis “the downfall of Germany; it was one of the worst things that have occurred to Germany” in April 2019.
