Reggie Miller was born on August 24, 1965, in Riverside, California, USA. He couldn’t walk correctly as a child because he was born with a hip abnormality. For a few years, Miller wore braces on both legs, which helped his legs acquire strength. He grew up in an athletic home with five siblings.
In terms of schooling, he attended the Riverside Polytechnic High School. He afterwards enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Miller graduated from university with a bachelor’s degree in history. During the NCAA season, he was a member of UCLA’s basketball team, the Bruins.
Reggie had the most points in the league, the freest throws, and the highest scoring average in a single season at UCLA. Miller was named into the Pac-12 Conference Hall of Honor in 2010, and his UCLA No. 31 jerseys were retired in 2013.

In the 1987 NBA draught, Miller was selected by the Indiana Pacers. He stepped onto the court for the Indiana Pacers, wearing jersey number 31. Before becoming a starter, he initially backed up shooting guard John Long. Miller was instrumental in the Pacers becoming a perennial playoff team. On November 28, 1992, he set a career-high with 57 points against the Charlotte Hornets.

His sister works for the network as an NBA sideline reporter.
After retiring from the NBA, he appeared in a comic role in the 2018 film “Uncle Drew”. In addition, he performed as a celebrity athlete in the reality competition TV show “Hell’s Kitchen.” On March 14, 2010, a documentary named “Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs The New York Knicks” was released about Miller.
